Taking Subsidies From Fossil Fuels Can Boost Renewable Energy – a small hit can mean big rewards

Fossil fuels still get a lot of money in support of their industries compared to renewable energy. If even a small amount of that money was shifted from fossil fuel subsidies to renewable energies, it could make a huge impact on expanding the industry across the globe.

It doesn’t need to be all of it, as little as ten percent will make the difference in shifting to renewable energy for many places. The extra support will make it the cheapest energy available and therefore more lucrative to buyers. This would really speed up the process of change.

And if you’ve been listening you know, the sooner we adapt clean methods that don’t increase emissions, the better off we’ll all be. Although there are plans to capture carbon and make fossil fuels cleaner, the best idea is just to be clean from the start.
