Food Scarcity As Climate Changes – as the crisis continues some countries more in danger than others

The climate crisis isn’t going to affect everyone equally. We’ve know that for quite some time but a new report is a harrowing reminder of the inequality of the issue. Burundi in Africa is one of the hardest hit countries in the world, in regards to food, by the changing climate and yet, they contribute very little CO2 to the problem. They’re not alone.

Around the world, countries are being impacted with coming food scarcity. Many of them have smaller economies and yet they are are slated to suffer far more from climate change than places like England or the Untied States. This means that the people who are causing the most damage likely aren’t seeing that much of it.

This is why it’s hard to make needed changes as it’s not affecting us as much right now. We share this planet with a lot of people though so working for more sustainable living may not be dire for us right now but the steps we take could save someone’s life half the world away.
