Caligraphr – make a font from your handwriting

There are a million and a half fonts out in the world today. There are all kinds of fonts. Font’s for EVERYTHING. Some are obviously just art projects, others you see everyday. Now you can make your own font to use in whatever you want with Calligraphr, the site that changes your handwriting into a font.

This fun little site gives you the tools to transfer your handwritten letters into a a font type that you can use in your digital projects. An extra personal touch. Write thank you cards, in your handwriting and just print them out on the computer. Or your next work report. You know, whatever you want. You fill out the paper template, snap a photo and the system does the rest.

There’s both a free and a paid version. The paid version gives you more control in cleaning up your hand written font to make it a bit more functional. That being said, if you just want to play around with it, the free version does give you a usable font to start with. It’s $8 a month to go pro.
