The Ground Is Getting Hotter – conservation can help

When we think of climate change, we think of the ocean and air heating up to be unlivable and those are problems, yes, but the ground is also going to heat up and that’s happening faster than the others. This is bad news for plants which is bad news for us. But there are things we can do to help.

One of the biggest things that can be done is conservation and reforestation. This will help the land bounce back. Supporting small farms and pushing for ways for them to sustainable increase yield is another.

The key is to do more with the land we have or even less so that the Earth can withstand climate damage and still support us as well as other life as we work on being better. It is important that we realize that we’re not alone on the planet and all nature of plant and wildlife is trying to survive. By helping them, we help ourselves.
