Oooh, so you can now get the television listings from the Radio Times downloaded onto your PDA. Not only that, but you can then use the infra-red port of the PDA as a TV remote control to select your program using the device. Very cool.

The �14.95 a year service has been developed by TVCompass, which seems to be quite a switched on (sorry!) company. Fr’instance they have plans to port this service to Symbian, so expect to see them marketing yer average nextgen smartphone as a television remote control and listings finder very soon.
