The AuraGrid Wirelesss Extension System. Er…so when is a wireless network not a wireless network? Answer – when it’s ‘enhanced’ by an AuraGrid coaxial cable system. So let’s see, you distribute the wireless signal round the house using coax? Hmm…give me a while to think about it…Priced at around $84.00.

Tired of those wireless dead-spots in your home? Frustrated with slow file transfers because of interference in your wireless network? Introducing AuraOne’s revolutionary AuraGrid Wireless Extension System, designed to completely eliminate deadspots and unwanted interferences in today’s digital homes. • I have a large home and one of the problems that I was having was that there was certain rooms in my house that did not have access to my wireless router. This product solved the problem completely without having to purchase additional access points. The best part was that I was able to use my wireless router (Linksys).

It’s a relatively simple idea extend RF over common coax – now why didnt I think of that! : )

If you are having problems receiving a WiFi signal in certain rooms and you have coax throughout your home, this product is for you.

  • Simple – hahaha – Your blog sounds like marketing hype! I bought the product and it was not as easy as you made it seem to hook up.

1st you have to find your junction box
2nd you have make sure that there is a home run from each duplexer port (mine had a spitter at the wall outle which had to be removed before this unit worked)

However – it did fix my deadspot issue and improve my connectivity around the house.

  • Steve, Kevin’s not me. I’m me. :-) It’s not his blog, he was just commenting on my blog. That’s me. See? :-)
