Leet Scrabble.

Leetscrabble

Er..L337 Scrabb13. No dufus, not a dyslexic Lego set, it’s Scrabble made mad leet for haxor geek brainiacs, right? Instead of boring, ordinary letters you get groovy nerd ones. Ay, getting a headache. $14.99.

The tiles are colored to emulate a classic terminal window, and the manual is printed on a genuine IBM punch card. Imagine the joy and satisfaction you’ll feel when you can slap down h4x0rz, for triple word score. Relish in the confused faces in the non-1337, as w00t wins you the game. Each set of L33T Tiles comes with 103 tiles, a satin pouch and a manual with additional rules for game play.

  • There’s now 4 X’s rather than one, doubtless based on the probability in original scrabble of pulling out both a C and a K. Question is, is the X still worth 8 points?

Trying to get letter distribution AND the scoring analogous to original scrabble must have been an absolute nightmare (that is if you’re allowed regular english spelling as well as haxor spelling, otherwise it’d be simple enough and my whole point is irrelevant)
