Drive Alert II.

Drivealertmaster2

Drive Alert Master II. Version two, same theory. Your head slumps, alarm goes off, nasty car crash averted. The new model looks a bit better than the last one, but still, how can we use one of these alongside a Bluetooth headset and not look like a real gonk? Ah well.  $24.95.

Just turn it on, adjust the wake up angle switch and place it behind your ear. When you begin to doze off and your head slumps forward, the Drive Alert will emit a LOUD, powerful BEEPING sound to wake you up. Using the Drive Alert could save the lives of you and your loved ones. And it may be the best safety device your car never had…

  • Easily: If you are going to drive and you find yourself putting one of these on – Don’t. Even thinking you might need this product means you’re too tired to drive.

    Get some sleep, instead.

That way, the last thing you hear on this earth (as your car smashes into a cement pillar, or worse, oncoming traffic) won’t be “BEEEEEEEEEEP!”

I’ve seen (and stopped to help at) rollovers caused by the shocked driver woken with one of these – they wake in a panic, wrench the wheel, and over they go.

  • Besides, how do these work? If it’s by tilt-sensing, one can imagine that they go off while driving down on inclined roads.

Even thinking you might need this product means youre too tired to drive.

    Couldn’t agree more.

  • Got to agree with you both actually. Similarly with Alcohol Testers. If you’re drinking that much that you need to test yourself, you probably aren’t going to be driving at your peak condition, are you?
