I’ve been playing with a fabulous little digital photo album creator called Diji Album. It’s from New Zealand – OK so its author is a Kiwi, grin – but don’t hold that against it.

The fact is that it’s a really cool bit of software. You can use it to tweak up your photos, and then create albums of your own design (with or without text and artistic bits on the page) and then either create self running exe files to distribute by email, or create CD ROM albums or even a set of fully working HTML pages to upload to a Web site. Just about the only thing not included is an FTP client as far as I can tell.

It’s not the prettiest program out there, but it is definitely one of the most impressive little utilities I’ve come across in a long while. Shareware, $29.50 for the registered version.
