Snappy Face Recogniser.

Snappyfacerecognizer

The Snappy Face Recogniser. Face detection system for securing your computer. Yep, instead of using your finger print, eyeball or halitosis, you can now stick your ugly mush in front of this 1.3 megapixel camera and software combo and get rejected in style. Biofeedback? Biohumiliation more like. £49.98, ‘morning after’ hangover restoration kit is optional.

Gain access to your computer system using your FACE! Snappy Face Recogniser is a face detection and recognition system that protects your computer and important information from unwanted access. Using advanced face recognition technology, it records and recognises existing PC user’s face and logs you on, while preventing unauthorised users from logging to your computer without your presence. Good for preventing children, family members, co-workers and other workstation users from gaining access to your computer.

  • I’ve played with something like this and it could be fooled by holding a picture of the person it’s trying to recognise up. Not very secure really….

  • Heh, no way? That’s brilliant. :-)

  • Yeah, but what about twins…? Still have to go for the finger print method. At least finger prints are always unique.

  • Ah but are fingerprints really foolproof, Sakura? :-)

  • Not really foolproof no, but if I had to choose between simply holding someone’s picture before the recogniser or find a spy-ish way to copy someone’s fingerprint, then I have to go for the first one. ;-)
