Tank Chair – the Xtreme wheelchair

Tankchair

The Tank Chair. The wheelchair for those who want to make a statement about life, the universe and the nature of getting muddy without trying. Excellent stuff. No price on it, but since it’s custom built for each injury and person, it’s not likely to be cheap.

Tank Chair is a Custom off-road wheelchair that can go anywhere outdoors. Conquers Streams, Mud, Snow, Sand, and Gravel, allowing you to get back to nature, and can also climb up and down stairs. For every 10 chairs sold, TankChair is going to donate one to a fire department in a rural area so that they can give it away to someone who would not normally be able to afford one. The first is going to go to Parker Fire Department in Arizona.

  • They went out of business guess this economy is killing all of the good small business

  • They didn't go out of business, I don't think. They did go into "re-design" for a while. But, they're back with a more powerful chair with greater stabilization abilities. I'm actually considering getting one, as my handicap prevents me from being able to take care of my small horse ranch on my own. The fellow that invented this chair was kind enough to bring one out to the farm yesterday to let me see if it will do all the things I need it too. The chair is a MONSTER. I'm still trying to decide if it's too much for this little old lady to handle and if it is going to roll over the miniature horses I'm trying to train. But by golly it sure does do what I need it to. Their new site is tankchair.net and it does list the price now.

  • they are definately back in business of taking the customers money and never delivering the product. my cousin ordered the chair in march and paid for it in full anbd its just about august and it still is not delivered. the only thing this company delivered is Bullsh@t!!!!!!!
