Judging by all the fuss, the Laser Cosmos star field projector is a really cool bit of kit. We can’t definitely comment because we haven’t seen it in action yet, but the retailers certainly seem to rate it. Apparently the main thing is that it appears to be 3D, which gives it the kind of depth normally missing from these gizmos. Anyhoo, it’ll cost ya £149.00 to find out.

What’s so clever about this (apart from everything of course) is that it seems so three-dimensional, the varying brightness of different stars makes some seem close and others to come from distant galaxies.
