Billion BiPAC 7300GX – the mobile wireless router for the road warrior

BiPAC-7300GX-casing

The Billion BiPAC 7300GX 3G/ADSL2 Router is a pretty clever device which incorporates a 3G HSDPA, EDGE, UMTS, GPRS cellular card slot in a standard ADSL WiFi router. Not only that but it comes with a 12V car charger, which means that you can deliver a full wireless network to your family while you’re on your way down to Safeways for the weekly shop. Now how cool is that, children? The idea of slinging your router into a bag when you pop out the door in the morning is choice, isn’t it? All it needs now is a battery option. Oh, and one other useful item – it has automatic failover, so if your home ADSL fails for any reason, the 3G will take over and keep the broadband connection up. Nice.

The BiPAC 7300GX is equipped with a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch so you can connect wired-Ethernet devices together. Directly connect up to four PCs or attach more hubs and switches to create a larger network as needed. Use the integrated Router function to share a blistering ADSL2+ or 3G-based Internet connection (requires a 3G data card, available separately), with automatic fail-over to ensure an always-on Internet connection in the event that one of your Internet services fails.
