The Panasonic DMR-HS2 is a DVD recorder with a hard disk and stuff in it. It is DVD-RAM and DVD-R compatible and sports a Firewire socket as well as an SD card slot for digital cameras and the like.

Can’t tell you much else, because it’s all in Japanese, but it looks groovy nonetheless.
