Ubiq Window – interactive touch screen windows arrive on Europe’s high street

Ubiqwindow

Ubiq Window. This new display technology lets you access information on computer screens from behind the glass. You can search, select and even web browse using just your hands and eyes, like the estate agent client pictured above. It’s an interesting combination of traditional media and a modern interface, and provides useful 24/7 access, although it may be arriving too late to save the long term future of the retail industry. Here’s a news clip showing this interactive window technology in action in London. [Thanks Kevin]

Otimmo is a real estate agency located in Brussels, in the world renowned neighborhood, “Place du grand Sablon”. DigiDyn has turned the street from a window into an interactive area, using the Ubiq’window. The agency is now an interactive area where all of their products and services are available 24/7 from outside the agency. But there is even more! If you are interested in renting, you can leave your contact details and the agency will call you later to fix an appointment.
