Bands Make Changes to Concerts for the Climate – live music has a footprint, some bands are working to make it smaller

Everyone likes live music! It’s really fun to see a band, especially if they’re you’re favorite band, play live but there is a carbon cost to that. A pretty high one in some cases. Your local group probably isn’t creating a whole lot of emissions but your stadium band, in most cases, are. A few musicians have taken a stand for the climate.

Climate Is Not Weather – but the two are becoming more linked

Weather and climate are two different things which is why arguments like “Climate change can’t be real because it still snows” are terribly flawed and incorrect. Weather is the immediate conditions of the outside world, climate is the long term patterns of the area. The climate crisis has advanced so much that it is showing up in our general weather patterns.
