AIR-INK – draw with air pollution

Air pollution is terrible and in some cities, it’s just overwhelming. It’s mostly caused by car exhaust in cities that have very high populations and older model cars. Now you can use that nasty pollution to make art with the AIR-INK Markers, the art tools made from air pollution.

The ink in these markers is made from recycled vehicular emissions. The black clouds of gunk that is spit out by older cars? That stuff. We don’t see a whole lot of that in the US anymore but it’s a serious problem in other parts of the world. The exhaust is captured with a special device attached to the car called the KAALINK.

The pollution goes through a normal marker making process and the end result is a non-toxic drawing tool. It takes about 45 minutes of emissions in order to make enough ink for one marker. The markers come in four sizes and a screen printing set. Currently AIR-INK is being Kickstarter but you can reserve your maker for $25 and up.
