If you�ve ever listened to any music, there�s a good chance that you have experienced the phenomenon known as �air guitar� at least once. There is a lesser-known version of it that we will call �air piano� in which one tries to mimic playing an actual piano, without playing any piano at all. Well my friends, the air piano is about to see a rise in popularity, and I can almost guarantee that some of that will be attributed to the Airpiano.

Now, you may think that this block of wood with red lights looks a little silly, but with a $1630 price tag, you may find that it is much more complex than that. The Airpiano acts as a USB/Midi controller that uses 8 infrared proximity sensors that have up to 24 virtual keys. It has 40 LEDs for orientation, feedback, and oh so much more. There are expression pedals and nifty gizmos galore. Airpiano has never been easier, and now flailing your arms like a wild person will actually make music. Technology is a wonderful thing.
