Android Basics Nanodegree – Google wants you to learn to build apps.

Android

Apps are everywhere. They’re one of the most popular ways of interacting with technology today. It’s no secret that making apps is a big industry that can lead to a solid career (until the tech changes again). If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to build but don’t know anything about computers, the Android Basics Nanodegree can help.

This is a degree program designed by Google and focused on teaching people how to build for Android that don’t know how to code at all. The idea is that it will teach people the basics to help them get employment. This course is 165 hours long and can be completed in a little under 6 weeks with a four-hour daily commitment.

This isn’t a free course. It costs $199 a month but it will give you a real class environment instead of flying completely solo out there on your learning journey. If you want to learn how to build apps but free online options don’t provide the support you’re looking for, check this out.
