Yep, we’re a sucker for a new launch, so we’ve gone and set up a Google+ Page of our very own. Took a mere 5 minutes (including uploading the image) and off we went. Nice!
You can find us at https://plus.google.com/103925240319608422257 (I assume eventually we’ll get vanity Page names, eh?) and don’t forget to add us to your circle if you’re already a Google+ user. If you’re not, why not?
I’ve been playing around with it for a few weeks now, and it’s an excellent resource for a number of reasons. First, it’s incredibly controllable. You get to micro manage exactly how much stuff ends up in front of your eyeballs down to individual posts. Also the interface between mobile and desktop computer is excellent, as is the integration of an awesome photo gallery feature. Am I gushing too much? Sorry.
Anyway give it a whirl. No it’s not Facebook, nor – seriously folks – is it trying to be. Google+ is absolutely turning out to be its own animal and that’s great. Right, I’m off to look at some of the extremely cool underwater photographers on there. Ciao.
PS I’m assuming some enterprising person will deliver a widget in a while, at which point we’ll add it to our sidebar to let readers hook up with us on G+ really easily. But for now, use the link! Go on, you know you want to.
