AnywhereFM is a new music player and upload service which lets you listen to your music anywhere you can log on to the Web. It comes with a neat file upload utility which offers batch folder or playlist uploads, and ticks the box on a bunch of trendy ‘social’ features like Friend Radio and the mandatory community that mark it out as a proper Web 2.0 type thang. Yeah it’s not revolutionary, but it’s got a bit of style going for it. The pop-out player seems to be a tad broken in Firefox, but hey it’s beta right?

My only small question is how many of these online players can the market sustain before we all sink under the combined weight of a zillion music tracks that are only accessible via a web browser?
