This 4-door sporty luxury sedan has a first-ever, factory installed optional WLAN hotspot that let’s passengers in the front and back to access the internet at up to 7.2 MB/s by dropping a data-capable SIM card into the car’s Bluetooth phone or by pairing it with your existing cellphone. Up to eight laptops, tablets or other network devices can be supported simultaneously via a connection through the car’s rooftop antenna.
The A8 also sports a cool hand writing recognition touch multimedia interface (MMI), on-board hard disk and a graphics processor capable of generating three dimensional images, a pre-sense safety system, a night vision assist feature that can detect pedestrians, full LED headlights and a MMI navigation system also integrates of Google Earth. Now you truly can be in touch with the world as you go! No word on the price but this year’s model starts at US$76,000.
