The Korean built Calm-PC is silent, dust free and ever so cool looking. OK so it costs $200.00 delivered to UK, and it won’t cope – yet! – with over 1GHz processors, but what a neat idea.

The Gentile collection is an awe inspiring selection of tiny – playable – instruments made by someone with far too much time on their hands. OK just kidding. The six various instruments in the collection are 1/7th scale miniatures, which are perfect down to the scratches and markings. The whole collection took 7 years to make, and apparently a portion of it is for sale. Astonishing craftsmanship!

This is a lovely little pictorial report doing the rounds at the moment which may point the way towards the phone use (and users) of the future. It’s based on observations in Japan and basically shows a nation obsessed with their tiny mobile phone gadgets – and they do seem to have a few!

Hmmm, not sure about this one. A company here in the UK has just announced a flat pack house which you can build from scratch in a week. It apparently uses specially factory crafted panels to speed up the process. It looks to be a development of this technology with a few tweaks. What I want to know is, when you want to move can you take it with you?

Whoa, a new addition to the Stress Relief section from me. Not a Web site but a file download but very very funky. Miroslav has created the Desktop Game package – a small downloadable game which lets you beat the bits out of your desktop screen, with….wait for it…..anything from a flamethrower to a machine gun, termites and hammer.
