Azimuth SP-1 Landship Watch

There are a lot of watches out there that are the regular round-faced stainless steel link wristbands. Only very rarely do you see a watch that will make you do a double take, and the Azimuth SP-1 Landship Watch fits perfectly into that elusive category. Its design is very unique in that it was modeled after the early 20th century landships. Its terribly surprising right?

The top turret of this tank has a window that show the hours, and a larger front windows shows all the tick marks for minutes. A red tick mark will indicate what is what for minutes, while an indenture in the metal on the top turret will indicate the hour. The case itself is very complex in its construction mimicking almost exactly the bodies of those early 20th century tanks they are emulating. On the side of this case is a crown that is meant to look like a side gun turret. Standing 55mm tall by 40mm wide, this titanium case basically is a little tank for your wrist. There is a rubber strap to keep this intricate little machine tethered to you, and seeing as they will only be making 100 this year, youll want to make sure its firmly attached. It is rather expensive as it sits at about $7800, but its also encrusted with sapphires and is water resistant up to 30 meters.
