Way back in the late 60s and early 70s, childhood wasn’t considered complete unless you had gone a few rounds with Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, remorselessly stabbing the control stick buttons until your opponent’s head was popped up off his shoulders. Now the fighting has been given a hi-tech wireless control twist.
The folks behind that old classic game missed the boat when they didn’t come up with this idea, but fortunately the battling ‘bot void has been filled by Battroborgs.
These motion-controlled boxing robots are powered by the wireless controllers held in your hands, letting you control every punch thrown by your robotic counterpart. There won’t be any heads popping off shoulders though; just a good old-fashioned falling down when someone gets their tail stomped. Fight one-on-one or go against a maximum of twenty borgs at once.
Battroborgs are available at Amazon either individually, with prices ranging from $26.99 to $29.99, or as a combo deal that includes two borgs and a battle arena for $68.37.
