Become your own personal trainer with the FitBit Flex

FitBit Flex

We all say we want to get into better shape, but most of the time that means we’ll hit up the gym once every now and again. When you seriously want to start trimming up, you have to really pay attention to the food you eat, activity levels, and be sleeping regularly. It’s a lot to keep track of if you’re not used to it, so having a corresponding gizmo or app to help you stay on task isn’t a bad idea.

The FitBit Flex will help you track calories eaten and burned, steps taken, sleeping patterns, and more. The app that goes with it will show you your progress, and help set goals so you can work your way towards them. The band you wear is splashproof, provides you with realtime data on your Android or Apple device, and can be your morning wake-up call through the vibrating alarm it has built in (I would still have your regular alarm on just in case). It does work with many other apps aside from the one that was built to go with this wristband in case you preferred a different one. This will cost you around $130, and is a good way to avoid having a beefed up trainer yelling at you a few times a week.
