Bicycles have been pretty standard throughout the years. Once we settled on the two wheels of the same size design, we pretty much stuck with it. But there’s still room for innovation. The Bellcycle gives you front wheel drive on your common bike.

This is a DIY kit which will probably appeal to the fixie crowd a bit more than it does to the casual rider but you never know. The set up uses a criss cross gearing system with the handlebars behind you and your pedals in the front. It’s odd looking at first but it seems to flow naturally.

The kit comes with all the parts you need to put this together on your own and its modular design allows for easy customization. Need haul some cargo? Cool, switch out the back wheel and attach a wagon instead. You can even make it electric if you so desire. How you interact with this bike is up to you, it’s not just a vehicle, it’s a project. It’s met it’s goal on Kickstarter and you still have a little bit of time left to preorder for $349.
