Bingo Box Closes – if you’re not going to have employees, at least install some sensors

It’s hot outside which surprises no one because it is actually summer, a season that is known for its intense heat. What is surprising is that it was hot enough to shut down a store with no employees. Bingo Box, the completely unmanned store had to shut down due to heat.

This cute, no employees needed shop closed its doors because the AC had broken. This wouldn’t be a problem, since no one works there and shoppers can just grab what they need and leave but it was so hot, food was melting. That’s the problem with the unmanned model, you don’t know something has gone wrong until someone complains.

Chocolate and candies were suffering under the high heat index causing customers to complain and the shop was shut down. Bummer. Good news though, they fixed the problem and reopened. Hopefully they installed some climate sensors to avoid this in the future.
