Bookmark Light – hold your place, read in the dark

Bookmark Light

Bookmarks are great for holding your place while you’re reading. That’s sort of their whole deal, in fact, you can use anything as a bookmark. With that being said, why not use one that can double as a light? The Bookmark Light is the unassuming device that can hold your page and help you read in the dark.

This is a bookmark made from a special film and conductive ink. At first glance it just looks like some computer inspired design but add a lithium coin battery and it’s a working night light. It’s small (hello, bookmark!) so you can’t exactly use it to illuminate the whole room but for some under cover reading? It’s perfect.

To activate it you place the battery, which is sold separately, on the circles. Once there, just fold it over and boom, light. When not in use as a light, it fits comfortably into a standard book. As a bookmark. The Bookmark Light is 1,728¥.
