BOSEbuild – teach your kids to build their own speaker and they’ll never hog the radio again

BOSEbuild at work

There’s no denying that there’s a future in knowing your way around technology and it’s best to get started at a young age. Right now we’re seeing a lot of movement to teach kids how to code (a useful skill for a variety of reasons) but Bose is taking a different approach. The company known for making amazing speakers wants your kids to learn how to build one with BOSEbuild.

This is a kit that you can purchase that will walk your child through the steps of building their own working Bluetooth speaker. This is a snap together project, there’s no tools required and everything you need comes right in the box but it is still a multi-step process that will encourage your child to ask questions and explore the world of making.

This project will give your little one some hands on experience in how technology fits together to make working devices. Although not as complicated as building a Deathstar, this could be the first step in a lifelong interest. Plus when they’re done, they’ll get a kicking Bluetooth speaker. BOSEbuild is $149.
