Botanicalls Kit – find out when your plant needs watering via Twitter alerts to your mobile phone

Botanicallskit

The new Botanicalls Kit lets you get ‘water me’ alerts from your plants via Twitter alerts to your mobile phone. That’s right, you can now have a sort of weird 21st century digital conversation with your flora at all times of the day or night. OK, so it’s strictly one way chat, and it could be classed as nagging, but it’s a start right? $99.95.

Botanicalls Kits let plants reach out for human help! They offer a connection to your leafy pal via online Twitter status updates to your mobile phone. When your plant needs water, it will post to let you know, and send its thanks when you show it love.

  • What a waste of technology. How difficult would it be to have an attached reservoir of water so the unit could also do the watering? Thereby saving a phone call and just getting on with the job without worrying you. Nagging is when the device rings you to let you know it’s “done you job for you..again, sigh”.

  • i get you, and understand the ultimate solution but
step by step though……a reminder to water is a great concept for those who have busy life styles and havent the technology in place to automatically water….. step by step…this is a great concept!!!
