If you’ve ever used a basement as your primary living space, you know that being in a room without windows can be a real drag. Sure, it’s nice when it comes time to sleep, but during other times it can seem dull. Or perhaps you finally landed yourself an office at work, but it is in the center of the building. Either way, this Bright Blind might be the perfect way to brighten up your room.
This gadget is pretty interesting, as the blinds are made of electroluminescent sheets that help simulate light from a real window. Want to control the brightness? Just turn the plastic wand, and the light will grow brighter or softer, depending on the direction. Unfortunately you’ll need to contact the company for a quote, which usually means that it will be a rather expensive purchase.
These blinds definitely look interesting. And it definitely does look like real light coming through a window. I wonder if they ever plan to have the lighting in different colors (if they don't already). But i think pricing these blinds anywhere between $75-$100 would be the right price range.
