Trashcans aren’t largely considered to be smart items. They’re where you put trash, end of discussion. The Bruno Smartcan is looking to change that view by being a connected trashcan.
Usually it’s up to you to remember to take out the trash or buy garbage bags. Which has probably lead to missing the garbage man more than once and using grocery store bags for a little while until you could run to the store. The Bruno Smartcan will remind you that it needs more trashbags and even has one touch ordering for them through the app. It will also tell you to take the trash out to the curb.
It’s a hands free unit. You can open the lid by waving your hand over it if they’re messy. And you don’t have to bend over to use the dustpan ever again. There’s a built in vacuum inlet and all you need do is sweep the crumbs and hair to the can. The can sucks it up and puts it in the bag for you. Cleaning just got easier. The Bruno Smartcan is $179 and ships in October.
