Finding a job is hard. It’s rough out there for a new graduate. Or old hand. Or anybody because finding a job is hard. One company wants to make it as easy to find a job as it is to find a date. BumbleBIZZ wants to help you find work the same way you find a mate, with swiping.

If you’re familiar with current dating apps, you know that you’re set up with matches that you can shuffle through pretty quickly. BumbleBIZZ wants to apply that same idea to working and networking relationships and hopefully serve as a replacement for clunky interfaces like LinkedIn.

This app is meant to make quick connections for on demand jobs and business relationships. Considering that many younger workers are embracing “the hustle” which doesn’t always respond to classic networking tactics, BumbleBIZZ may step in to fill the void. This feature isn’t set to roll out until the fall and although it’s probably not a great option for everyone, it’s an interesting use of the current technology.
