Caddy Aid.

The Caddy Aid. A golfer’s PDA with a difference. Not only the usual distance guides, GPS and local golf rules, but also ‘fairway flyover’ videos and television style advertising. The hardware is a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX N520, and the whole package will set you back £380.00 all in.

CaddyAid, a specialist golf software package, that will be available only on a Fujitsu Siemens Computers handheld, is a GPS distance guide that offers golfers an immediate readout of not only their location on the hole, but also distances to key points on the hole. All of which help the golfer make a better and more informed shot.

  • This looks a great product. Where can I buy one from.

I this was the GPS product used by Tiger Woods at the Open Championship at Hoylake a few weeks ago.

  • It was I’m sure, I saw Tiger and other players using the device in practice rounds. from what I heard, when they were out of position in the rought, the device still told them immediatly how far to the front of the green, then they made notes.

Sounds fantastic, and it is a fully working PDA with word, excell, comntacts, email, internet etc. I think it costs about 350, not bad for all that.
