Candy Floss Maker.

Candyflossmaker

Candy Floss Maker. Uh-oh. Sugar death comes to the kitchen table and dentists everywhere laugh maniacally. But doc, how better to finish my nerd pizza birthday fest than with some raw sugar coated on a stick? £34.95.

As the machine heats up, the central head begins to spin, forcing liquid sugar through its tiny perforations. The instant the threads of sugar hit the air they cool and re-solidify, causing a web of sugary threads to develop in the dishwasher-friendly collection bowl. All you have to do is gather up the yummy wisps on your candy floss cone and get munching. The whole process is really rather wondrous.

  • You see it’s educational candy!

  • In the US we call that cotton candy. I was really confused by the words “candy floss.”

  • In NZ we called it ‘candy floss”. Now I use either name for it.
The longer I live in California the more I notice Americans are becoming familiar with British terms. It must be the internet.
    Cheers

  • Cotton floss?
