Threadsmiths Cavalier – the first water and dirt repelling T-shirt in the world

Yay, it looks like we’re heading for a world where we never have to wash our clothes again. The Victorinox Swisscard Lite Pocket Tool – a new look for an old favorite

The Swiss Army knife is the staple of any outdoor kid. I’m not exactly sure what the Swiss Army does, considering their multi-tool has always featured a corkscrew, bottle opener, and a nail file, but it seems like the kind of warfare I can get behind. In any case, if the classic Swiss style knife is too much for you, let’s introduce the Victorinox Swisscard Lite Pocket Tool.

In case you hadn’t heard, food is getting more expensive, mostly due to rising harvesting, shipping, and processing costs. One answer to the problem has been to start looking at alternative, more local and efficient ways to produce food for communities wherever they are, and Aquaponics looks like a solid solution. The system marries aquaculture (aka fish farming) with hydroponics, to deliver fresh home grown vegetables along with fish supplies when needed.

Milktape – relive the glorious retro art style of mixtapes

Remember when mixtapes used to be that ‘special‘ gift? If you don’t, go take a look at John Cusack in the excellent High Fidelity movie. They could mean so many things. It could just be, “I think these songs are rad” or it could say, “I think you’re rad.” Too bad it’s a dying art. Or at least it was. Milktape is reviving the mixtape as a form of communication for lovers and friends alike.
