Right Time Prank Pregnancy Test – always turns positive for those sharing caring moments

We’re actually having trouble thinking of *any* situation where this product would be considered even remotely funny, but we’re honor bound by our sense of civic duty to feature it here for discussion and ridicule. The Right Time Prank Pregnancy Test is guaranteed to always indicate a positive result, no matter what.

Pedigree Tracks – apparently your dog now needs a fitness app too [Freeware]

We’re surprised it too so long. After all half the developed world is dog mad, so why shouldn’t some enterprising (cough… opportunistic …cough) company try and capitalize on that? And what better than a pet food company eh? So step forward the new Pedigree Tracks app. The most totally useless piece of code to ever be written in the history of code.

Mail A Spud – no box, no envelope, just a potato and some stamps

We’ve featured some pretty weird things here over the decades, but boy this one really stands up there with the best. The new Mail A Spud service offers to send a potato to anyone in the U.S of A, for just $9.99. We’re not talking prime edible foodstuffs here, no fancy packaging or anything. Just a potato. Or potatoe. Spud.

Do Tools from IFTTT – cool online service gives us some mobile tools to play with. But what a mess! Freeware]

We’ve talked about the very cool IFTTT (if this, then that) service before, with its cool mix of automated recipes which you can use to automate parts of your life. The idea is you can set up a recipe to, say, send an alert to your phone if snow is coming, based on a reading of the weather reports, and once the recipe is set up, it just runs automatically every day for you. Neat. Now the company is offering…

GraviGen – Free Electricity Forever

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that everyone on this planet is actually, well on this planet. Especially when it comes to offering miracles on demand to gullible people. But we’re going to pretend that this GraviGen is a real, proper product which does what it says, and leave the rest to your judgment.

Wall Mounted Desk – recreate the joy of your cubicle at home and save space too

One of the benefits of working from home must be the freedom that comes from arranging things exactly how you want them, and the fact that that a pointy haired boss isn’t peering over your shoulder every 10 minutes. But for some people there’s clearly such a thing as ‘too much’ freedom.

Tapeworm Diet – lose weight fast, at a price

We need a yeeuw tag here really, so don’t read on if you’re a bit squeamish. Apparently if you are desperate enough to lose weight, you can invest your cash in something called the Tapeworm Diet. Cat Petting Simulator – an online substitute for the purr-fact relationship

Sometimes we get a little confused by things that we find, either because they’re a little bizarre or they’re simply deranged. We’re not sure which side of the coin this online site falls, but it’s definitely not normal. The Cat Petting Simulator offers up an olde school style text adventure game interface to let you interact with a digital cat.

The Incredible Astounding Amazing Mr Nunzio La Vecchia and his Quant ‘Salt Water’ Powered Supercar

Hollywood needs to make a movie about this story, because it’s that good. And we mean good. It’s so fantastic it makes other similar stories pale in comparison. At its heart it’s the story of a man and his vision, the vision to create a personality so large, and so incredibly impressive it will take our collective breath away. The movie would star Leo DeCaprio as Nunzio La Vecchia, entrepreneur, inventor, philanthropist, with a glorious gleaming supercar prototype as his…

New Chinese Texting Lane is for people who can’t stop looking at their phones [Weird]

Apparently the city of Chongqing in China feels that there’s a problem with people walking and texting, so it’s introduced a new ‘Cellphone Lane’, which is there to be used by people who are staring at their handsets as they walk. You couldn’t make this stuff up, could you? The street, actually called Foreigner Street, has a clearly marked lane, with a sign that labels them for mobile phone users.

Apple restricts new iPhone 6 NFC to Apple Pay only [How Stupid Can One Company Be?]

Oh wow, apparently Apple has confirmed that it’s new iPhone 6 NFC implementation is locked to work with only one app, the Apple Pay service. Oh my oh my. This is rather like locking Bluetooth to work only with an iPod, and we can’t help feeling that Steve Jobs must be spinning at several thousand RPM right now, as this incredibly dumb move goes down.
