Electronic music is both entrancing, and very difficult to make. While the purists who believe that classical music is the only “real” music (they do exist, and they’re quite serious), music like electronica has its own method to madness, and technical skill. Learning how to play an instrument can be pretty difficult. Let’s say you pick a stringed instrument. Laser tag is one of those games that I would play every day if I could. There’s something about the adrenaline rush that comes with playing that makes it over-the-top fun. Not to mention it’s a great workout. The only problem with playing that often is that it’s going to wrack up a bill after a while.
When you listen to one of your favorite songs, you probably start belting out the words or dancing along to the beat (or both). You know that if you heard the same song at an event or club with friends, you would probably have a smile plastered on your face. Grooving to the beat is always more fun when it’s more than just one person, but you’re not always going to have a friend at home to dance with you.
When you’re out jogging, hiking, or biking, there’s a good chance you’re going to want to listen to some music. Not that any of those activities aren’t fun, but it’s easier to do a longer workout when you’re not as focused on the physical strain you’re experiencing. We’ve seen some converters that take a cassette and change it to a digital medium in the past. However, it stores the information on your computer, and then you have to put it onto your device to listen to it. If you are an iPod or iPhone user, then you will be pleased to know that you will be able to skip over that last step entirely.
It’s not even fall yet, but all we have to do is blink and it’s going to be winter again. Frost-bitten fingers and bundling up in coats that look like marshmallows will be upon us before we know it. Video games hold a special place in our hearts. The music and art has changed over the years, but we’re never going to forget the musical masterpieces that came from arcade games. Sadly you don’t hear much of that style anymore, and it’s quite difficult to find it in a game nowadays.
While I can appreciate silence every now and then, there are some days where I want music on, constantly. As we’ve noted before, YouTube currently drives a good proportion of the Web’s music discovery, but up to now we haven’t seen much in the way of basic, down home jukebox functionality from the service. Yes you can set up channels, or use your favorites as a form of playlist manager, but neither of these options gives a really satisfactory result.
One of the great things about the Internet is the spirit of community that you find around the place. Everywhere you look there are folks happy to give stuff away, even if the stuff is their hard work made manifest. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the digital music sphere, where all sorts of genres are represented.
Summer is a grand time to do a lot of nothing. All we want to do it chill out next to the pool, and relax with some of our favorite tunes. The only problem that you may face with this situation is needing to turn up the volume or skip a song you don’t particularly like while you’re dripping wet in the pool.
We like things to be as seamlessly functional as possible. If we’re giving a presentation, we don’t want to have to walk over to the computer and push the �next� button. Should you want to take a picture with everyone in it with your phone, then you should be able to without having to ask one person to exclude themselves to tap the screen.
