Every day we receive a bunch of solicitations to support crowdfunding projects from various places, and while we absolutely love the whole idea of public/fan sponsored products, there are areas where things need to settle down a little and get real. One such example is 3D printers, a hot new segment where idealistic dreams are often clouding better judgment and financial realities.

Soo, this is interesting. The City of London police, a force which looks after a mere 1 mile patch in the centre of London, has now taken upon itself to run the Internet. According to this BBC report, the police force, which is best known for wearing quaint helmets and having a love of horses, has started inserting warning banners on websites it thinks are infringing copyright.

We seriously need to do some compulsory education of the legal profession around the world, judging by this unbelievable court judgment in France. A French judge, who is unfortunately not named, has ruled that a negative review of a restaurant called Il Giardino in Cap-Ferret, which had the title “the place to avoid in Cap-Ferret: Il Giardino”, was overly critical and should be toned down. The judge also fined the writer. Incredible.
