Writer – beautiful simple retro word processor application

John Watson’s Writer is just beautiful. A simple, no frills, yet perfectly useful online word-processor done in the green screen format of old. It’s even got a word count and spell checker for goodness sake. Oh and I’ve just noticed that you can change the text colour – amber, grey, lots of choices. Wow, lovely. As well as some rather splendid red phone boxes (from around £3000.00), the company also has some great looking telephones which are real restored Bakelite (from £200.00) and a fabulous A & B push button coin box from the 50’s style phone boxes – you had to be there – at around £350.00 complete.
