These Immortal Video Sunglasses are definitely a cut about your average Chinese models. For a start they look like something you might actually want to wear in public. They’ve also got a 3 megapixel camera in there, with 4GB of memory and a battery life of 2.5 hours per charge. In fact the only downside is the rather serious £249.00 purchase price. But who said the life of a covert voyeur was gonna be cheap?   Inevitably, many tiny cameras…

YouTube Time Machine – addictive video history box should be banned

Oh my, this new YouTube Time Machine site (YTTM to its friends) is more than addictive. Just drag the pointer along the timeline at the top of the page and click play on a video from some long past era. Absolutely wonderful.  As I was lost, in the mists of time, Del broke me out of my ponderous silence and said “DUDE! THAT SHOULD BE A WEBSITE!!” I said “YES!” he said “YES!” – and then we probably high 5’ed….

The new Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK Dual Camera offers full HD stills and video recording in a pocket friendly package. The specs are impressive, with 10 megapixel stills, 3x optical zoom, SD card storage and stereo sound recording from a twin mic array. Karaobird – freeware turns your browser and YouTube into a Karaoke machine

Karaobird is a free Firefox addon that turns your web browser into a Karaoke machine. Just visit a YouTube video and the lyrics of the song will autoplay alongside, in scrolling fashion, just like a real machine. Of course you don’t get a muted vocal track, so you’re screaming your version over the top of the original, but it’s still g.o.o.d f.u.n. The scrolling works pretty well, although you’ll need to concentrate to read the print sometimes. You can switch…
