Code:Deck – playing cards for developers

codedeck

Code is everywhere. Well, everywhere in the digital world anyway. It’s the building blocks of everything we interact with through our machines. If you are or someone you know and love is addicted to coding, the Code:Deck is the perfect set of playing cards for them.

This deck is unique in its geekery. Each card, in addition to the general suits also includes a handy line of code for each one. As if they were being rendered in the real world. Even though the cards are standard, the code is not. The deck features a variation of different languages.

Code languages that is. There’s Java, C++, Python and HTML (yes, we know, not technically a language but it’s included with the cool kids) to name a few. A secondary game could be just identifying what code is on the cards. The cards are made from chrome matte paper with double sided UV polish. They’re a fun distraction for anyone who loves coding or just are really into solitaire. Code:Deck is $10.
