ConFlexPave – making better concrete by letting it bend?

ConFlexPave look

Concrete is generally considered to be a strong material, we make sidewalks and buildings out of it but you’ve probably noticed that the older it is, the more cracks you see. This is because it’s actually pretty brittle, A new type of concrete called ConFlexPave gives you all the strength of concrete with better durability by making it flexible.

Concrete cracks with tension because it’s not flexible at all. ConFlexPave solves this issue by making it more able to handle the tension that constant weight causes by making it out of materials that give a little under pressure instead of just breaking.

This new concrete is just as nonslip and sturdy as the current type but it will last longer because the same pressure will not break it as quickly over time. This concrete can also be prepared off site and installed making for more efficient building sites. This is still under development but if implemented, it could cut down on costs and time. Not to mention all the mothers whose backs will be saved.
