Are you tired of looking at all of your CD and game cases just stacked up all over the place? They take up a lot of space that could potentially be used for other things. Disc Dot is an innovative storage solution, even if it hasn’t been thought through.
This is actually a very simple idea. The Disc Dot is the inside post ring that you would find on most cases for games, DVDS, and music CDs. Instead of living inside protective cases, you can take the post and attach it to a wall, cabinet or other flat surface. This lets you layer your discs along your wall saving you precious shelf space.
The only thing is, not so sure how comfortable anyone would be sticking a $60 game to a wall without any protection. One misplaced toss or friendly game of rough housing and your precious game or favorite CD may find itself completely unplayable. It’s a cool decorating idea, using already damaged media or really cheap ones, you could create some fun patterns but for practical storage, this just seems a bit risky. Disc Dots are $9.95 for a set of 20.
