When it gets hot out, turning on the air conditioning can be a bit of a wallet-buster. As the heat of summer is fast approaching, everyone is going to be looking for inexpensive way to cool his or her home. Enter in the DIY Air Conditioning that can be found on Instructables.

This �air conditioning� is extremely cheap and phenomenally easy to make. All it takes is a 2-liter bottle, a pair of scissors, and some ice. All you do is cut off the top of the bottle, right where the curve starts to straighten out. Then place some ice inside the bottle, and put the top part you cut off into the bottle. It should be able to slide up and down the length of the bottle, but also fit snugly. After that point, you simply pump the top part up and down and will be the master or air conditioning. No, it’s not the most effective way to cool yourself off, but it will work in a pinch.
