DIY Anti CCTV Glasses – hide your face from the nasty cameras with these digital hoodies

Anticctvglasses

Fed up with being watched? Then you need to make yourself some Anti CCTV Glasses

. Not rocket science, just some ordinary shades with two UV LED lights embedded in the frame. You’ll need some electronic smarts and a drill. Of course you’ll need to be facing the cameras head on for these to work, so try and avoid all those giveaway profile shots OK? And good luck with the Orwellian crusade, dude.

  • I hope we can get some video someday of someone wearing these gadgets and trying to keep them pointed at a camera while opening their car door and driving away. Ooops, don’t forget about the second camera over there…..

  • Wouldn’t it be easier just to get the LEDs that attach to the bill of a ball cap? Since I have Alopecia Universalis, I have to wear ball caps all the time, and I have those lights on my caps.

  • How about just mounting extra lights? Put one or two along the earstems of your shades (or the side of your cap) and enjoy 270* protection.

Would an LED license plate frame work to defeat red-light cameras?

  • Build 2 LEDs on each side, one facing front one facing sideways, and you should be covered regarding the profile shots. If you’re paranoia, add a 3rd pair on the top.

Also remember that not all CCTV cameras are UV-sensitive.

  • @anonymous: heh, you’d end up looking like a Xmas tree, shirley? :-)

  • hows about just doing nothing wrong?

    • What's the fun in that? You live your calm lawful life, will we go out, and live life to the fullest.
