Dog owners know for a fact that on a regular basis, they are required to give their pups a rub down to keep them feeling loved. But due to the busy lives of many, it’s possible to accomplish this task quite often.

To make sure dogs are always feeling great, a Michigan woodworker who goes by the name, Matt Thompson, decided to create an impressive wooden machine for the sole purpose of petting dogs.

We have to say, the DIY Automatic Dog Petting Machine contraption looks quite impressive in photos, but even more so when it’s in motion.

Now, the design is clearly aimed at large dogs, but with a few tweaks, we’re pretty certain Mr. Thompson could create one for smaller breeds. You see, we believe no dog should be left without feeling loved, no matter their size.

There’s no certainty right now on whether or not Matt Thompson plans on selling this device to pet owners with needy dogs. It won’t be cheap, that’s for sure, but we’ll purchase anything no matter the cost if it means man’s best friend is happy.
