Drawdio – the pencil that lets you draw music


Drawdio is an electronic gizmo which lets you turn anything into a musical soundboard. Attach the unit, and start playing in a glorious 8bit type sound tapestry. There you go, one of those cool geeky things that has no real utility, but looks like fun anyway. You can make it yourself via the kit, which is $17.50.


 Imagine you could draw musical instruments on normal paper with any pencil (cheap circuit thumb-tacked on) and then play them with your finger. The Drawdio circuit-craft lets you MacGuyver your everyday objects into musical instruments: paintbrushes, macaroni, trees, grandpa, even the kitchen sink…
