The Dream Authentics Tabletop Arcade Game offers 150 authentic classic video games from the likes of Atari, Namco and Midway, complete with proper controllers and a retro arcade design motif. Powered by a slimline PC and also contains an integrated jukebox MP3 player. Cool stuff. Although for the price you could of course just buy a laptop, a copy of Half-Life and still have enough left for an iPhone and accessories. $2,495.95.
Evoking the pinnacle of arcade gaming during the 1980s, this is the video game system with authentic controls, original arcade graphics, and 150 classic titles built-in to one convenient tabletop console. Hundreds of vintage games from Atari, Midway, and Namco come to life on a 19″ flat-screen LCD that captures the vintage two-dimensional vector graphics and picture aspect ratio of Pac-Man, Centipede, Tempest, Gauntlet, and more. The unit has an adjustable joystick that moves in four or eight directions, a 3″ trackball, and 11 large buttons, ensuring authentic arcade-style play and feel.
cool idea, but OUCH on the price tag- you could build a homebrew to do the same exact thing for far, far less money. And it would be able to play that copy of HL2 you could buy with the money you save.
Wow just a bit pricey. This probably costs like $100 to make. They should price it at like $500 and make their $$ on volume.
